Tom Morris, CMD, is the Director of Remote Services for Mission Search Corporation. Tom is responsible for coordinating and managing the set up and quality of remote planning for radiation oncology departments in hospitals and clinics on a national and international basis. Tom has over twenty years of experience both as CMD dosimetrist and radiation therapist and is highly regarded and well known in the radiation Oncology community.

Before joining Mission Search, Tom worked in a variety of roles as a dosimetrist, including serving as the Manager of Radiation Oncology at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee for four years and as a locum dosimetrist for well regarded hospitals and medical centers throughout the United States. This experience gives Tom a keen insight to the needs of radiation oncology departments and treatment planning now and for the future.

As a visionary with respect to remote treatment planning, Tom helps guide Mission Search's clients to maintain the proper balance between staffing needs and planning needs. As patient and planning volumes constantly rise and fall by using remote treatment planning managers no longer have to struggle with the issues of overworking their dosimetrists when volumes are high, or being overstaffed when volumes are static. Tom is a strong proponent that the concept of remote planning, and other remote services, are the way for the field of radiation therapy to be better prepared to manage costs and staffing needs, both now and in the future.
